Knock-off Chinese cell phones

Some of these phones look interesting as a spare phone to buy and play with. I have no idea of the quality, but they *look* decent.

Just for fun, I have been thinking about getting a sort-of copy of an iPhone that runs Android with a quad core 1.4GHz CPU.

The knock-off Galaxy S3 looks like it could be fun to play with, too.

I had a knock off 3GS... Same kinda deal and I hated it. It was aweful. Honestly I wouldn't recommend it but they may have gotten better than when I had mine.

Most of these phones are GSM and come carrier unlocked, so you should be able to just plop a sim card in and be set.

Knock off phones most of the time run like crap, but I always enjoy playing with them. I used to collect fake iPod nano's just for lulz. XD

You know what kind of Chinese phone I wouldn't mind rocking every day though?

2 years ago, these babies were going for $80 a pop; I'm sure they're much cheaper now.

And yes, that thing has a touch screen. LOL

Yeah - getting one or more of there knock-off phones wouldn't be to use it seriously as my primary phone, but more for something to play around with. I can get an AT&T or TMobile pre-paid GSM SIM to pop in and swap between them, just for S&Gs.

Knock-off phones are goof-tardedly cheap, don't even think about it.
It's usually throwaway grade hardware that someone scavenged and assembled, the OS is usually something ripped from a "free phone" and then burdened down with things to make it 'look nice'.

I wouldn't give someone $40 for one, let alone several hundred.
You can get a *real phone* used cheaper than that.

i'm so tired of all the apple hype. i can't stand apple. especially the ipod/pad/phones.

you can have all your apple only software, limited downloads, uploads, and flashy expensive 'technology'. i'll stick with android any day. my USB plug works anywhere, i can download any kind of application i want, and i can do anything your phone can do...except SIRI thank god.

my phone does everything yours does (except attach to a dock) and i'm ok with that.

my android eats apples for lunch hahaha

as for the cheap knock=offs, you can go to any ebay seller that sells i-fods or whatever they call them and see how wonderous they are. go for it. waste the $$ or spend it elsewhere. either way, if you get one let us know how it works for you...or doesnt work.
