Knocking When Turning

Whenever I turn (mostly at low speeds), I'll hear knocks that go on for about a second and go off. It's not all the time, but about 1/2 the time I turn under 10 mph. It sounds like someone is knocking on my front driver's side fender. I don't really want to take it to the dealership because they'll try to replicate the problem and won't be able to or say that it's nothing. Has anyone had a similar experience or does anyone know what it could be? Thanks!

Would I need new a new one or be able to fix it? Covered under warranty?

Edit: I just went out and checked and everything around the sway bar end links are tight.

Very much still under warranty. If it's the endlinks though, they may say no since you're lowered. Lowering shouldn't void axle warranty (IMO). Besides, if it's the endlinks you don't stock replacements anyway. Get the Moog ones.

Yes, that's the endlink. If it's an axle, it usually sounds like a clicking that happens once or twice per rotation of the wheel.

The end links are usually the noise you hear from the front end. You cannot really tell if they are bad while on the car. If you still have warranty then they should replace them. If out of warranty get Moog end links, they are worth it.

I had one of the fittings rust out on my stock end link. It caused a popping in my front suspension. I swapped it out with the Moog end links and haven't had any issue for over an year now. They are fairly inexpensive as well.

I had what can best be described as a crunching noise anytime I turned, left or right. I had the dealer look at it 5,000 miles ago, couldn't replicate the problem. Yesterday, during another oil change they were able to replicate and located a leaky boot around the passenger side CV Joint. They have the entire half shaft on order. It will take a week to get here. I will update after it goes in.

Half shaft was installed. I got my car back yesterday. No noises from the front end. Covered under the 3/36 warranty.

I know it was covered, but did they tell you how much it would be if it wasn't?

I don't have the invoice here at work, but I believe it was around $240.00
