OK - I 'm looking for a set of snows, but the Sonic bolt pattern is not standard. found a set of steel 15 inch wheels locally with 215/65/15 snows that were used a few months on a Chevy Cruze.
Tire calculator shows factory tire is 25 inch diameter, this tire is 26 inch diameter. Since they are only 15's, I thinking there will be plenty of clearance for the extra diameter - its only 0.5 inched in radius... Online chart showed actual speed of 94 mph at an indicated speed of 90 mph, so not to far off.
The width and offset would probably be close, but I'm not sure. I know that you don't normally want to go wider than factory on snows, but some Sonics have 225/50/17, so these really are not super-wide for a Sonic.
I can get the whole setup (no TPMS) for less than a set of 15" steel wheels.
Thoughts?
