I bought my Sonic the 17th of July, a Blue Topaz (Luxo Blue) 1.8L Auto Sedan. I have had fun driving it until I was camping and was caught in a pretty rough storm. I took shelter in the Sonic and was taken a back when I saw water dripping around my map light and on the passenger A Pillar cover. I called the dealership the on Monday as the leaking happened on a Saturday night (August 4,2012). On Monday the dealership said the next available appointment was Tuesday, August 14 (the appointment was for one week after I called. I expressed my need for the vehicle since it was my Daily Driver). I was told I would be given a loaner while the work was being completed, but that doesn't help when they call for rain all week when your car leaks (so I had to continue to drive my Sonic with tape on the roof where I thought the leak was).
So I took the car in for the appointment on Tuesday and was assured the car would only take a day at most to repair. On Wednesday evening (lastnight) I was told the car was ready for pick up, so this morning I went back to the dealership to pick the Sonic up. The Body Shop mananger had pulled the car back in to test it this morning and sure enough it was still leaking! I am put off that the car is not even a month old and it has a to be repaired and that I was not called this morning before I wasted my time and Gas to drive to the dealership just to be told that they were "they Really going to look into it today," it seems to me the revefication step should have been before the step of telling me the car was ready for pick up.
