Linear springs?

Has there been any word if we are going to get any linear springs or are we going to be stuck with progressive for awhile?

I can not in my wildest imagination see any change in that direction.

Nor should I unless you have some knowledge that makes them a better choice that I have not come across.

I cant imagine any aftermarket manufacture making them for for our cars as a replacemnt for an OEM spring. I see no reason for it either. The advantages of a progressive rate spring make it the most likely choice for the vast majority of those that will be buying replacement springs.
