Hi,
I recently changed 2/3 of the motor mounts for my 2012 1.8L Sonic HB. I first changed the upper transmission mount and drove the car for a few days with no problems. Later, I changed the lower transmission mount and began experiencing clunking/groaning noises once the car is warmed up. The noise can be heard when hitting bumps at speed, letting of the throttle while going uphill, or sometimes when starting the engine or reversing once the car has warmed up.
Any ideas what could be causing this noise? Does anyone have experience on replacing the lower transmission mount?
