LS? LT? what the heck is the difference?

Besides the turbo option of the LT, what's the difference between LT and LS? And is it worth it to get the LT when it comes to base features?

Here LS basically equals manual windows and locks, different seat material, no cruise control.

LT is power windows/locks, a little more chrome, chance to upgrade to 16" wheels (only w/ 1.8 and fogs though), available cruise and better stereo.

More entertainment features, fog lights, sun roof, power windows, igger wheel option. The 2LS has power locks btw. Its really not that much of a difference in my opinion of course I love starting from scratch and getting into modding the car. It would be nice with some things standard but Im going to change those things anyways in the long run.

In the US on the official Sonic page there is a nice PDF (a little hard to find) that list the standard features of the 3 trims. From what I saw the biggest difference was the LT comes with power windows and a stereo with a CD player, where as the LS does not. And Power windows are NOT an option to add to the LS, which ruled them out for me. Also the LT has the option of the 1.4L turbo engine, where the LS only has the 1.8L.

1LT is available with the 1.4L turbo, but not the 2LT.

The fabric on the lower trim levels have a champagne bubble pattern that is cheap looking.

I think their may be an accessory port but that's it.
No 1.4 turbo option.

I think the LT is worth it. I have basically everything the LTZ has minus the wheels, fog lamps and leather seats (which I'm glad because leather sucks on both winter and summer).

Once I get fog lamps and wheels the only thing separating me from an LTZ will be leather seats and that's it.
