Hi forum im Andy this is my sonic rs in progress. it a 2013 first thing i did the day a bought it was put 15% tint all the way around including my head lights and tail lights then got my green sparco rims. then green hid and a little bit of vinyl wrap and had fun with it. next is my injen intake is on the way and my hifonics brutus stereo system. it will be here next week. then since i work for a gm dealership im getting the borla exhaust on employee discount and a BOV and waste get upgrade and then a full tune on a trifeca. cant wait to see everyone else sonic builds.

yeah there pretty bright they are just a knock off brand of led i bought off ebay. My headlight are 55w hids

You should hit up beastlick about his hid housing kit he can do, hids in the stock housing will pi$$ off other drivers. I'm sure others will chime in about hids in stock housings.

Mine are in the stock housing already. I get high beamed all the time. They show much more vivid at night lol. I'm doing my fogs and my highs in green as well

I know you need a tune and you can either replace the stock unit on the turbo or get a charge tube one.

DDM Works has a complete hard charge tube kit that will allow you to run a true blow off valve or you could run Forge's hybrid atmospheric BPV that's essentially the same thing but in the stock BPV location.

Okay. Yeah I'm gonna get a tune this summer after I get my borla and I take on and I'll just do the bov upgrade then. I have a buddy who works at a place called rpm around me and will do a dyno tune for 100 dollars

I'm pretty sure that Trifecta is the only tuner that can tune for atmospheric BOVs.

I tried to get a link to the kit for you but I'm at work on a DOD computer and it wouldn't let me on the site. They are reasonably priced on all their products.

That's what I was told it's the only one that will bypass the codes it throws so my car isn't telling me some things wrong

It's not that, other tunes aren't capable of running of the MAP sensor and expect the vented air that the MAF sensed to still be in the intake system and it will run rich during those events.

Your probably way better off going with trifecta full tune and data logging than using a dyno shop with possibly little or no experience with sonics.

Okay is the trifeca tune something I just buy like a performance chip and I can do it my self
