MIL On, Code P0054. Warranty?

I wouldn't expect to be having mechanical problems already, but my MIL came on yesterday and I hooked it up to read the code. Came up with P0054 which comes up as "HO2S Heater Resistance Bank 1 Sensor 2" online. I can't find tons of information on what the actual cause is online, but wonder if this is something that should be covered under the powertrain warranty or not since I'm at 41,000 miles.

Any advice or past experience on this would be helpful.

So, I took a look at the warranty terms a little bit closer and it seems Chevy pretty explicitly excludes sensors from the powertrain warranty.
So, any ideas, or should I just start by replacing the O2 sensor?
