Mirror extentions

I have a Sonic LTZ with the works except those little mirrors that fit at the end of the mirrors on the outside to let you see if anything is coming . I've seen them on some of the Sonic's before. Does anybody know here I could get a pair ?

You talking about the small, round concave mirrors?
1.28 each at Pepboys or any other parts store, even Walmart...

They are convex mirrors. Here is the mistake I made. I got the ones from Walmart, and they were I believe 2". I mounted them to the inner part of the side mirrors. It seemed ok at first but now they dont give the field of view I want. Maybe because I am a truck driver and have 4 huge convex mirrors, but I would like some that are a little bigger and will mount them to the outermost part of the mirrors next time.

Yea, whatever they're called
Why would you ever put them on the inside?
If you place them and angle them right (I got the ones that can angle once they are mounted) they pretty much eliminate your blind spots, but I still always check, always good to be in the habit in case you happen to be driving a car without them

They look the same as mine. I have no idea what I was thinking when I put them where I did. I think I'll try relocating them to the outside.

I also put the small 2" on the outside corner of both mirrors where they fit perfectly. I have used them before on my vehicles and you may find that after a couple of years you will need to replace them since they can loose some of their reflective properties. But for $3 bucks for a pair, its worth it.

That's what I'm looking for ,the one that fit the outside. Do they help to see ?I got the weather gaurd window vents and Thursday I'm having the windows tinted on all 5 windows. I've got a Sonic LTZ 1.8 LTR Hatchback. Of course it's Orange.

I looked at O' Reileys but they didn't have any. There are alot auto part and I will check them all. I got my windows tinted and it sure looks good and keep its cooler inside the car.

Hey guys, another option you may want to try is to adjust the side mirrors outward to eliminate the blind spots per the SAE recommendations. I've been doing this for years and it works. It takes some getting used to since you can't see directly rearward in the side mirrors, that's what the center mirror is for. Obviously if you have a load inside or trailer blocking the center mirror, then you have to re-adjust.

I remember seeing side mirrors, I think on a Mercedes, that had the outer end convex curve 'built-in'. I guess that costs more to have a mirror that is not flat, but for the minor cost, all cars should have that...
