New 2013 sonic owner

Howdy everybody. I just purchased a 2013 chevy sonic 2lt after my old daily driver (a1987 Pontiac firebird) broke down, the transmission went out. I love my new sonic and I dont haftaworry about breaking down all the time now. Ive already got a list of upgrades I'm ready to do including tinting the windows, headlights, and taillights, adding a system, blacking out the chevy emblems, and possibly a new grill. I found some made by another forum member I really like. I also want to add some oarnge accents on the exterior to match the orange and black interior.

Thanks guys. Quick question for you all. Have any of you had experience with the tint that comes in a sheet for the headlights and taillights. Im wanting to tint mine and have dealt with the spray tint before (pic is of my firebird I tinted the taillights on) but I want something less permanent on my sonic.

I've got Lamin-X on my tails and it's easy to put on and comes precut to size.

It looks like the laminx only covers the main parts of the light (the circles) what about covering the sides or am I just gonna hafta end up plastidipping the sides

Buy a sheet of tint instead of the pre cut.

Seems like it would be difficult to get a sheet to lay flat on the odd shape of the light. Here's my car by the way

You will need a heat gun. That will make doing the contours easy.

Or just get the light covers that I have on mine and the pre-cut ones work awesome and no need to spray tint or try to do complex curves with tint for the first time and going insane.

Projector LED lights with tinted headlight casings just look awesome. Welcome to the family and sorry to hear about your fire bird. I know my brother had his crap out on a 200mi trip home after he had just bought it. bloody fuel pump quit on him.
