New clutch, need more info!

So sadly I have noticed some clutch slip on my 2014 1.4
Now I am in the market for a new clutch. As of right now I can make it last to summer by taking it easy, but I am not sure what route to go with!
Is the GM performance clutch worth it, or should I get something like a SPEC kit. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Im running a 93oct tune with CAI, ported intake, and straight pipe. planning on going with e85 come summer.sd

Just get the GMP kit. It will handle a tuned Sonic just fine. The SPEC kit is not worth it considering that its $600 and the GMP one is only $250. Unless you reallllllllyyyy want that lighter flywheel.

Lighter flywheel for the win!

Albeit, probably not for the street! They're a [female canine] to work in slippery weather and dense traffic. Skurtov is right, save your money.

I can honestly care less about the aluminum flywheel. I just want to make sure I am not going to need to replace it once there is a little more power going to it. My only reason I am concerned is because it states that it holds 11% more power then stock, but the stock one was designed to just hold what the car puts out stock, or at least that is what I was told.

Factory rated numbers are a little meaningless in our applications. What GM "rates" them vs what the actually handle are a bit off. You will have no problems with the clutch going bad with a tuned car. Provided you don't launch the car off of every red light and know how to a drive a manual properly.
