hi all. I am new to the forum. I have been looking at sonics lately to replace my 1500 silverado. love the truck just don't really need it. I am not a chevy person i just was drawn to the silverado because at the time it was my best option. just like now i feel like the sonic is my best option. my first love is my jeep though. this will be a commuter car, but it still has to be fun and safe. attached is a picture for all the jeep lovers out there.

Yes, I've been in Oregon IL on a delivery. I pick up, deliver, and service lawn & garden equipment for a dealer in Geneseo IL.

i know what your saying. funny thing is, most of the American cars that i have encountered that have actually been made in the U.S. have been great. its the rebadged korean or mexican cars i have had problems with.

welcome to the forum , iam just south west of you about 2o min i also bought my sonic as a commuter car , iam really happy with my sonic my local dealer had a black ltz drove it and really liked it ,i too traded off a silverado truck love the gas mileage in the summer there have been times when i see 40 mpg thats keeping it under 60 mph on local highways on the interstate i dont se it that high mine is the 1.4 auto , i know the stick is more fun to drive but the auto was all they had .this forum is great again good luck on your purchase
