Hey there. Got my sonic early 2013.
Put some after market wheels
Pinstripe.
And painted rear spoiler.
It's an rs turbo.
And now I'm currently looking into building some horse power on this thing.
Unfortunately we got an automatic for the simplicity of teaching my wife how to drive.

Looking forward to seeing what others have done and what I can do to our sonic. Pictures coming soon!

You get a 1.4 Turbo or 1.8? How is the long term interior squeaks/rattles if any.

1.4 turbo. It's an rs.
No complaints other than the lack of hip and lag of turbo.
The automatic transmission likes to hang out about 3k if I'm baby'ing it from first to second. Second to third.
Guess it's the "learning part" I'm a heavy foot most of the time.
Hoping I can get some in site to the best intake exhaust
Tune combo to start

Suggestions and recommendations?
From what I gather I upgrade
CAI, BOV, EXHAUST is about all we can get out of these..
Any chance on getting 250-300hp

Hello everyone.. I bought a 2013 LTZ Hatch, 6 speed auto.. Black Granite Metalic.. originally to upgrade from my 12 year old clunker, and possibly as a car for me to drive until my son is out of high school in a few years.. but.. I'm really digging it and it's very likely we will look elsewhere for his car.. that is if I can find a mounted roof rail/cross bar system to install or have installed akin to a factory roof rack.. I am not keen on the door frame clamp type of rack.. any suggestions?
