New to the forum from western WI. Just purchased a new 2014 Chevy Sonic LT Hatchback 1.4L 6spd manual this past Wednesday. Needed a commuter car since I drive 50+ miles round trip to/from work everyday and the 14 mpg my truck gets was getting to be a bit much. So far I love this little car. Only complaints so far are the weak headlights (solved low beam situation below), lack of temperature gauge, only one trip meter, and no display for tire pressure.
Already threw a pair of Brite Lite H11's into it to help with the weak low beams, so I've got my first "modification" out of the way. I'm going to fight the urge and try and keep it stock for at least the first year...good luck, right? Definitely will be looking forward to opening up the down pipe of the exhaust, changing out the charge tubes, and getting a proper tune in it though.
I look forward to meeting fellow Sonic drivers on the forums and gaining as much knowledge as possible for future maintenance and modifications.
