Hello all, new forum member here, I own a 2012 Sonic LT 1.8. Bought it brand new only had 9 miles on it. (5 of those were from me test driving it). Came to the forms because Ive had the check engine light on, and the codes that got pulled said my MAS sensor needed replacing. I was told to try and clean it first, and as I pulled the sensor and checked on the air filter, found the intake hose cracked open at the top and bottom of the hose. Replaced it with 2 2-1/2 to 3" adapters and 3" intake flex hose from O'Reillys. Seems to be running better now, I prob need to still clean the MAS sensor. I have over 90k on it as I was driving over 700 miles a week while in school and working.
Thinking about pulling the stock intake and putting in a K&N intake or if anyone else has something better to try let me know.
