Please tell us about your 2012 Sonic and your opinion of it.
It's kind of a funny, embarrassing story. I grew up in NYC and lived there until very recently because my husband's job moved us out to the middle of nowhere. I had literally no reason to learn how to drive until the move. My husband has a 2012 Sonic that I learned on and we realized that we would have to get another car because he takes the Sonic to work every day.
I got so comfortable learning with the Sonic and I like it so much that I wanted to keep it for myself instead of getting the new car. We considered getting another Sonic for him but we ultimately decided we should have something bigger as our second car because we have two dogs and we want to have a kid in a few years. He got a VW Jetta SportWagen.
It's not turbocharged and it has no alterations (besides the factory recall changes). We (meaning my husband) drove it up a mountain in Hawaii in June 2012 when my he was stationed out there and we first met.
