I bought the car for my granddaughter - 19. She fell in love with the Inferno Orange color

We were surprised at the pep this little car has (for a 1.8L engine!!!)

Previous owner must have loved it - got 15K in less than a year.

Only complaint we had was defective AC - but the dealer quickly had it fixed under GM warranty. - works great now!! apparently some contact on a wiring harness had corroded

Only have 900 miles so far and the car lives up to expectations on mpg etc.

Granddaughter loves the way it handles - she's using it to get her license - was learning in Chrysler T&C which is a bear to parallel park - No problem in the Sonic

Congrats on your car! Yea the 1.8 has alot of low-end torque... the 1.4T has that sweet spot mid-range torque as a bonus from what I hear. Both great motors for the class. Enjoy it!
