Can anyone give me a little insight? I’ve done some diag on the system myself, so far I’ve checked all fuses and relays, changed out the pressure transducer switch, checked pressure on low side line. I put a meter on the fuses inside the car with switch on and both get 12.5, I did the same under the hood for the compressor clutch FUSE and it gets 12.5, I tested the relay but there’s no power to it... put the compressor clutch relay in the high beam and they work so I’m guessing the relay itself is good. When I turn my ac switch on the idle in the car changes but I cannot get cold air still, compressor clutch will not engage. I’ve read up on so many things and have searched the forum high and low but no straight answers or even a good place to start. Should I get a new compressor/clutch? I also did try jumping the relay with a paper clip but just not getting power there for some reason. HELP! Really don’t want to have to take it somewhere when I’m more than capable of replacing parts on my own but I absolutely need some diagnostic help/direction! Thanks guys!

As far as I know yes. It’s consistent for sure, living in Florida it’s read anywhere from 90-100 the pst couple days and that is absolutely been the temp hahaha I did however order a new one because it’s $7 and I figure why not try it at least. Turns out I am getting power to the relay, the probes on my meter weren’t reaching down far enough and tonight for whatever reason I tried it again and stuffed it down there and got 12.6 , I unplugged the compressor and tested 0.01 on the male end of the harness.. that’s hardly anything. Is the “thermal protection switch” replaceable on its own?

for my sonic the previous owner has the AC not cooling and went to some mechanic , the guy did connect the AC directly i guess , i dont know he connected some wire directly from the fuse box so now the AC turns on not from pressing the AC power button that one is always on i just turn the controller to witch it on - now i dont know why he did that in the first place and when tried to check with him the guy is gone , it seems that what he did is causing damage now because and im not sure the Car while idle and AC on RPM is not stable - rough idle , other mechanic told me that the whole fuse box needs to be changed + to check on injectors and now im not stuck i dont know what to do , to keep like this or lsn to the guy
