OK maybe I am a little biased (I work for Bridgestone America), but everyone on here seems to talk about adding this bolt-on or how much performance they can get out of this intake. Noone seems to talk about one of the best performance bangs for the buck...tires. I peeled off the optimo's within the first 200 miles and opted for a set of Firestone Firehawk WideOval Indy 500's. Nothing is going to change the overall performance of a car as much as a radical change in tire selection. So take that $300 intake cash and put it towards a set of tires. Sorry DDM, your intake is awesome though

Personally I prefer Falken and Kumho tires depending on what I am doing and what is available. I lean more toward Falken though.

I did greatly enjoy the Firestone Winterforce tires I used last winter. Hopefully my 14" wheels will clear the brakes with the use of the adapters I plan on getting.

Never had Pirelli's. I've always loved the Michelin's that I put on my vehicles after the stock tires wear out. I put BT45's on a motorcycle once and was not impressed. My truck came with stock Goodyear, P275/55R20's, and they just plain sucked - any stress at all and they'd squeal like pigs, even brand new. Actually, I'm really happy with these 16" Hankooks after the Goodyears.

I put BFG Gforce Sport Comp2s on everything for the summer. They are cheap, responsive, and have more than enough traction for a small street car. The slim smooth sidewall design also looks great on aftermarket wheels.

I tried the comparable priced Yokohama S.Drives on my Omni but they lack the response and grip of the BFGs. They are a more comfy and quiet tire.
