Oceanic Blue HB Greetings From Indonesia :)

Warm and Tropical greetings from Indonesia, fellow Sonic Owners!
Name's Rockford and Im a proud owner of a Sonic LTZ 1.4 Hatchback (They're still calling it Aveo here though). Its been quite a few months (3 to be exact) since my initial purchase and Im lovin every second of it. A Sonic / Aveo is a very rare sight here in Indonesia, because people tend to stick with mainstream Japanese Hatchbacks such as Yaris or Fit (Ironically I got mine replacing my problematic Fit)... So driving a Sonic around tends to break necks all over the place

Sadly here in Indonesia, the Sonic undergo alot of Specdowns in order to cut cost and compete with leading Japs, making my specsheets waaaaay inferior to what u guys have (Yep, no cruise con, no 17" alloys, no MIDs, no heater, no arm rest, only dual yes DUAL airbags, NO TURBO so on n so forth).

Currently Im using the car as a daily commute and it has 5000 miles. It was initially Oceanic Blue, but soon it will be wrapped into what I personally call "Matte Bumblebee Yellow". I think a build thread is in order and I cant wait to share my Transformers-inspired Sonic with you guys!

Does anyone know if the non-turbo 1.4 still has the same internals? If so, that thing should last for-freaking-ever. Even with a turbo and with a lot of us dialing up the boost, it's a solid, reliable engine.

That's a good color. I like it.

We don't get a lot of the good colors the rest of the world gets - in the auto industry as a whole. We are dominated by white, black, silver and gray.

Well, from experience gained from our local Sonic community, its totally different. Because the one with the Turbo is codenamed LUV while our NA 1.4 is codenamed LDD. Well, that's according to Wikipedia anyway... Such a shame, I would love a turbo Sonic.. 100 Hp is just waay underpower for such a heavy car~

Well, here's pretty much the same except for my Oceanic Blue.. The rest are Black, Grey, Silver, White, and alike.. Orange Rock is coming midyear, but I would love to see one in Dragon Green!
