Oil Pressure - OEM

Hey, can't find an exact number. Anyone know the normal oil pressure is. Just did my gauge install, and I'm seeing around 50-75 depending on temp and drive time... No issues...

50 sounds about Oem, but doubt we get 70.
Honestly have no dea what spec is.
Oh forgot to ask, what gauge did you install and where did you mount it?

Seriously though I picked up all my hardware including the inTune used from forum members.

Per GM Spec with oil temp at 176 - 212 F, idle oil pressure should be 22psi. At 3000-3500 rpm, 55-94 psi. That's on a 1.4.

On a 1.8 the idle pressure should be at 18.85 (that's what it says) at 170* or higher. There's nothing saying about at higher RPM on the 1.8.

that's what I'm seeing then.. all nice and normal. This is a good tool to use to know when NOT to run the engine. let the oil warm up, and better able to lubricate during high RPMs
