Opel 1.4L Turbo Overboost Function

This article on the Opel makes me wonder if the overboost function might be eventually incorporated to future Sonic Turbos. I know there are tunes out there for our cars but any additional power or torque with factory backing would be great.

Would be great if GM would plop that motor into a couple cars here in the states. We need more diesel car options.

I agree with you Alan I would like to see the diesel cruze do really well. If I could have waited I probably would have purchased one.

Ford is doing it with the Focus RS, hopefully Chevy follows suit in the near future. It'd be nice if when/if they do, they replace the 1.4t with something bigger.
