I recently had the headgasket done on my sonic, guy wasn’t confident timing it. Got it back and had the two codes.. so I changed out the CPS today and I’m down to 0016 now. What can I check from here? Is my timing for sure off or could it possibly just be a cam sensor or VVT solenoid? Anyone else run through these chain of events? I was going to have the car re timed and tuned locally to me but if I can eliminate the cost for the timing and just have her tuned I’d surely love that! Anyone??
