Painted My Door Sills

Well, I am not a painter so I am using water based paint and after I get them where I want them I will use some type of clear coat to seal it in. This was after 2 coats, will probably do 2 more.

Chevy...like I said earlier, just bought a very small fine tip brush, and used water based paint to make the screw ups easy to fix (wipe away with finger while still wet). I am about to put at least 1 more coat on them and then probably clear them to seal it in. I am rather impressed myself with how they came out. I had to stop to do some honey do's...almost done and then back to the important stuff.

Where did you get these sills? I like these a lot better than the generic "Chevrolet" chrome ones that I have been able to find.

If you go to http://www.americanbrotherdesigns.com/Chevy_Sonic_Products_s/35.htm they have a few different styles with Sonic already engraved in it. I just took some red paint and a small brush and went to work. These sills are the real deal, 1/4" billet aluminum and powder coated.
