Plans for a Turbo-Back?

I have no plans of ever upgrading the turbo on this car. Does DDM have any plans to offer a turbo-back system? If so I plan on holding out from buying the primary cat-back with test pipe setup. I know there is a catless DP out there but would rather buy a complete system from one vendor. If DDM plans on offering this with a Trifecta tune package deal I would absolutely be on board.

As of right now, your only option is ZZP catless downpipe and some sort of catback exhaust, which ends up being a straight pipe.

I have seen the posted dyno chart for a turbo Sonic with 2.25 DDMWorks cat-back. Using premium it dynos 150whp no tune. In my opinion that is not a waste.

The reason I didn't get a DDM exhaust is because it's 2.25" and the catless downpipe is 2.5. I got a custom catback with 2.5".

DMtuner I thought the same thing about just a cat back but laborsmith has changed my mind with several dyno graphs..

Not sure if you're aware of this or not so I'll go ahead and throw it out there, but as of now there is no replacement for the flex pipe section.. everything else can be

I have never seen that kind of gain from just a cat-back even on a forced induction motor. If that is the case I may just go with the cat-back / test pipe combo, and not have to fight the OBDII lights..

It is the combination of premium fuel (which adds about 9hp) and the freer flowing exhaust. Stock exhaust is 1.875 in several places which can be quite restrictive.

I think Eric had a down pipe back exhaust made up and then threw on the ZZP down pipe (the hardest mod he ever undertook!!).

So what did you use for the flexpipe? And how much for that part of the exhaust?

I was thinking about making one but was concerned with 1. Finding a good quality flex pipe. 2. Cost since there's no way I can do those bends myself. And I think that was it
