Potential New Owner

Hello everyone!

So I'll be test driving a 2014 Sonic RS later this week to find out if the car is what I really want, but for now I figured I'd come here and see if anyone might be able to answer a few questions for me.

I've never really modified the performance of a car before, so I'm curious what are the easiest ways to get a little more out of the 1.4L Turbo that comes with the RS. Also where would be a good place to find performance parts, didn't have much luck searching on my own since I'm pretty new to all of that. And my finally question is has anyone had any big manufacture problems with their Sonic? Or are they pretty solid cars.

Search the 1.4t motor and RS section, plenty of threads on adding power to the 1.4 motor. You'll find over and over again that the tune is the best bang for the buck period. Once you've figured out what you want you can find any and all parts from our vendors. But, the new member section isn't for technical questions.
