Putting the Euro Aveo back seat headrests into the North American Sonic

I confess, I had to take out the rear seat headrests to improve visibility. Since I rarely have anyone in the back seat, this works well for me. However, I'd prefer to not have to put in and remove the headrests every time I have a rear seat passenger. Has anyone tried putting the European Sonic (Aveo) headrests in their North American Sonic? I love the Aveo headrests since they don't impede visibility nearly as much as the Sonic's do.
