Questions About Intercooler Upgrade

So, instead of spending $600-$900 for a kit specific to the Sonic, I was wondering if I could use a universal intercooler such as this one: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/...MIy_aa4IOi4wIVErjACh1SfwPdEAQYASABEgJgHPD_BwE

If anyone has experience using a universal intercooler and/or has one to recommend, please share. Thank you.

Just ordered this intercooler for my Sonic and it's supposed to be a bolt on. Will update on how the install goes. I have an RS so I may have to do some trimming of the fog lights.
Currently $380 but they had a 15% off sale so I got it for $320 including shipping :banana:

Nope. Didn’t have to trim anything. Install was very straightforward
