rear deck sub

i have a 2013 sonic LTZ turbo sedan. and want to add a subwoofer to the Mylink radio. I do not want to take up space in the trunk and don't want to see the sub either. i was looking at the Boss 8” or 10” self powered sub and want to mount it under the rear deck facing down. Any body ever use this, or mount a sub on the rear deck. good, bad, ugly.

I would think the rear deck would be highly prone to vibrations and rattles.

It is highly prone. Ive been tempted to remove the rear deck plate and leave it.

Its definitly doable but the overall outcome wont be too great.

Anyway to Dampen the vibration and rattle.
