Recall for suspension 2012 Sonic

I got a phone call from my dealer/service center on Friday afternoon regarding a recall on my 2012 Sonic. They wanted to see it ASAP and made an appointment for me to drop it off today. (which I did) Has anyone heard about a recall for the suspension? I can't find anything about it but I'm glad they called and let me know! (I really do like my dealership...they have been very fair with my daughter and I.)

While it's in, I'm having them fix the wind noise around the windows and check on a head-light dimming problem that's been going on but not a big enough deal for a special trip out for service. This recall is the first problem I've had. **knocking on wood**

Ironically, on the way over, someone dropped a 2x4 out of a truck and it got kicked up in front of me. No where to go in tight traffic...it got me. Slapped the back door and side of bumper where it wraps around the car. No damage (surprisingly) to the door but the bumper looks like it's through the clear coat. I was so mad when I pulled in and was looking at it before the service guy came over. He looked at it and said he'll have the detailing dept see if they can look at it while it's there, maybe it will buff out. Yeah...I like my service guy.

Anyway, is anyone having or had suspension problems?

My VIN is not pulling up any active recalls as of now.

The suspension issue may be the bulletin regarding the anti-sway bar end links; and not necessarily an actual recall.

My guess is that the dealer is slow and knows about the bulletin. Counting on customers not knowing any better they claim its a recall so that you come in. Quick easy money for the dealer and if they do the paperwork correct it looks legit to GM.

Wow...nice. But as long as it's not costing me anything, they can replace any parts they like! It's got 28k miles on it and new parts couldn't hurt before it rolls out of warranty. (I estimate sometime late summer, early fall.)

They've given me a really nice loaner vehicle...a Traverse. Big SUV that has 3 rows of seats and sure doesn't get the 37mpg that my sweet little Sonic does! I guess that's one way to get you to test drive a new car! (I gotta say, I would love to have that stereo system in my Sonic!) Unfortunately I am past my family SUV days...kids are grown up and my youngest starts college in the fall. Now...if they had given me a pickup to preview, we might have been talking. I still have horses and was thinking about trading in our 2007 pickup in another year.
