Removing the driver's side floor mat

Everyone, this may be a silly question, but: how do you remove the driver's floor mat on the Sonic? I'm getting ready to swap the regular mats for the rubber ones for the colder months. The mat seems to be attached and I can't seem to find a way to remove it. Advice please? Thanks!

It is held in place by those two clips near the seat. It just snaps into place. The little circle in the center is part of the carpet on the floorboard. The larger circle is attached to the floormat itself. Just pull up on the floormat and push down on that circle in the center. it will come right out.

If they are the same as mine there is a little circle hole in the middle of the thing holding the mats down and I press on the little hole until it releases. It helps to hold the floor carpet down while doing this. Good luck hope it helps.

This took me a while to figure out myself but yeah, the other 2 are correct. just follow what they said. will come right up. Its one of those things that its so easy it do it somehow becomes hard to do/figure out lol.

It worked, thank you guys! You have to have pretty sturdy thumbs though, and preferably no long nails (for women)
