Resonator Help

Ok so i installed my new ZZP turbo back exhaust. The exhaust is catless and has the ZZP muffler. Its a little loud and i need to tone down the exhaust note some. I have been looking at these two resonators and am unsure which will help me better.

I have found if you contact Bandit they can price match and usually beat anyone out there.

Most people are happy with the 14" and a muffler. Once I get rid of my factory DP I will be moving up to an 18" resonator, but I like a quite exhaust.

Yeah i like a quite exhaust as well. No need to have a headache every time you drive your car. Thanks for the input!
Those are both slip fit correct?

The Magnaflow's are slip fit but they are dual 2.5" i.d. which makes them universal. I used a 4" or 5" section of 2.5" o.d. pipe I had laying around and dual clamped it inbetween my muffler and slip fit tip. Since you're dropping it inbetween a straight piece of 2.5" o.d. pipe you should be fine but I recommend cutting reliefs in the inlet/outlet of the resonator to help clamping/sealing. I used a cutting wheel on my drimmel.

rdss, is the magnaflow quieter than the SLP resonator? I will probably need something more as well when I add the down pipe and mid pipe.

I do not have the resonator yet. Still running the SLP. I swap in a Magnaflow in the muffler spot and it got me to the tailpipe location I wanted and seemed to mellow out some of the noise I don't like. If you want less noise I would go with an 18" though, that's what I plan on doing once I swap in a catless down pipe.

I'm catless and running the magnaflow 12866 which is 14". I couldn't be more satisfied.

Mine is fairly tame with the 14". It cuts out all the crappy tones. I can, however, hear the car at idle inside my house now and couldn't when it was stock.

Hearing the car in the house while idling is something I use to like back when I was younger. The only thing I like loud now is my Harley Sportsters.
