Rhino rack install question.

So I just installed the euro bars and the bases look funny to me. I cut the spacers for the bars at the recommended length. Do you guys think I should take them apart and put them a little wider or is this normal?

That is not normal. The rubber base should fit your roof flush.The instructions, however, are not entirely clear. It is a little difficult to explain.

Your spacer pieces should be aligned like so:

I assume that you have the spacers pushed in as far as they will go. I did the same thing at first.

It it sunny outside, and very difficult to take a picture upside down with the rack installed.

That does help I didn't realize they were supposed to be like that I had pushed in as far as they would go. I'll try it out tomorrow, it's dark outside and I have a dark rye IPA in my glass.
