Almost a year. 2013 LT Turbo. Bought wheels and a junky intake that is laying the garage. Ordered some PIAA night vision bulbs for the low beams today. Just simple upgrades is what I am looking for. Very dependable and gas mileage was an initial thought. First car payment in many years.:banana:

After market lights are added for looks and increased visibility. I never had a moment were I thought the lights on my sonic needed to be any brighter though.

I changed my lights just so they were more white, instead of yellow.

Coming from my 19 y.o. car, the lights on the Sonic are a huge improvement.

that sounds about right. my Fiero had less than stellar lights.

Of course it also didn't help with all the hazing over the light housing either. Although, the occasional Pepsodent cleaning did help with that a bit.

I am not changing the bulbs for looks. I drive a lot at night down back roads. Didn't buy the extreme white bright ones. If I like them maybe I will change the brights. Hopefully the PIAA brand bulbs last. Didn't hear good reviews on the sylvania ones lasting long.

I have had the PIAA Ion Yellow bulbs in my fogs for 2 years now and only time I have an issue with them is when I had hit some road debris and they go out every time they have an impact no matter how small it was. I hope your bulbs don't do this but should be ok since they are higher up from the road way.

I love my PIAA bulbs but man are the expensive!!!!! Great warranty also because when one went out they sent me a a whole set for free and then the next one went out and got another set so 3 sets for the price of one. :banana: Keep all of your paperwork for date of purchase and if one goes out definitely warranty it.

I got mine from Amazon and as long as they were new when purchased keep the receipt and they will replace them for free for one year I believe.

I am looking to get another intake setup soon. Had the CX racing one and did not like it. It is laying in the garage now. I really want the one in the GM catalog but who knows when it is available.

I used Sylvania Silverstars in my last car, but found that they burnt out about once a year. Does PIAA have something comparable in white light and price? The silverstars were $40/pair

They do have the white light model bulbs. Check Ebay or Amazon. Other places were way expensive.

Coming from a cobalt with super-bright sylvania headlights, the sonic ones seem a little dim. Although it is nice not having people flash their brights at me anymore..
