RS tail lights

Does anyone know if the chrome rings on the taillights come off like the headlights?

Yes, pop the hatch remove the screws to remove the lights and there are screws to remove the rings.

What year gixxer do you have. I know a tail light trick if its a 91-92.opcorn:

I have a 2008 Gsxr 1000

Oh well, it was a long shot. The 91-92 had a two red cube style tail light. And I found an easy way to sink them into the tail flush to mimic the look of the Ducati 996 tail.
