So I think it's time for me to go back to the SAB, but I'm considering pulling the snorkel and hard piping to the turbo. I know some of you have done this, but having a hard time finding whether it's worth it.
Are there any definitive gains?
How loud is the SAB with no snorkel and being hard piped? Remotely comparable to aftermarket intake? I ask because I hate the noise.

For what it's worth I have a hard-piped SAB but still have the snorkel. I didn't notice any difference in sound or power.
