Sealing falling out?

What would cause this to start falling out?

I spoke to dealership and they do not know. I recently went in for a few things. They cleaned the air filter. However, the advisor stated they would have had no reason to touch that particular area.

Next Friday I'll be taking it in to have it fixed.


Let me know what you all think. Personally poor sealing job and/or humidity is only thing I could see.

Same thing happened to me, in the hatch area. What looked like a sealing strip between two welds at the top corner of the hatch came out - about 2-3 inches of it.

I just shrugged and stuffed it back in. Until it came out again. Then I just cut it off.

I won't do that. Too many bulging areas for mine. I plan to check the hatch area to be safe before I take it in.
