I am debating about getting a tune. If I do decide to get one, which tune should I go with. I have a 2012 ltz sonic with a mpfab intake and catback exhaust.

I do have a 1963 Buick Riviera that I am currently redoing. I am wondering if I want my intake manifold to take a beating.

I own and have tested all, bnr efi live hands down the best. will be posting 1 yr of test results on tunes and mods next week.

OP, I noticed you mentioned that you had some aftermarket modifications on your vehicle. The link here is for the tune that did not support aftermarket modifications. You'll need the Advantage+ Tune from Trifecta if you're wanting to go that route.

I have the bnr efi live tune, and after putting it off for as long as I did, I wish I would've purchased it months ago instead of waiting lol. I don't beat on my car very often, but 242wtq as opposed to factory 148 flywheel torque is awesome. Makes normal everyday driving much easier on the interstate, or on bisy streets when you need to get out onto the road.

As for whether you should tune at all, the answer is yes.
The stock tune is deliberately set up to reduce your available power down to that you would see under the worst circumstances. This is so granny doesn't buy a car in January and then, discovering that it has significantly less power in June, decide there's something wrong with it and start harrassing the service department. Hot air delivers less power than cold air, so there's a serious difference between January and June... but in the stock Sonic, every day is a warm June afternoon.
Since none of the aftermarket tunes have this philosophy, you'll see a big bump in power if you tune in the middle of winter. Same applies to aftermarket exhaust and intake, both of which you have... you probably saw more power at first, but fairly rapidly the stock tune drags you back down close to that same worst case scenario.
Unless you just wanted the sound, it's pointless to buy an intake and exhaust without a tune.
