Sight shield retainers (?)

Does anyone know where to get the plastic clips that are near the back portion of the top of the bumper that clip onto the front of the car (there's 6 of them all underneath the hood above the rad). I broke some of them when I was removing the bumper

I believe they're called sight shield retainers but when I look them up online, they don't look the same. IF anyone can get an OEM part # for me that would be great

I can get a picture of them if nobody has any idea of what I'm talking about :sadbanana:

The only recommendation I've got is to swing by the local body shop with a clip, it's what I do.

Not the most exacting method but it works pretty good.

Thanks for this website! I believe I found the correct retainer for the top of the bumper. They don't have any specifically for the sonic, but I used a ruler and a pencil and measured out a broken one from my car.

Too bad they come in sets of 50 . I'll let you guys know if these fit when they make their way up to Canada.

Do you have a Napa store where you live? They usually carry all type of clips from every manufacturer.

We have Napa here. But I typically avoid it because they never have inventory, and they never have stuff for sonics. That and I dont really like the customer service lol

Update,

The retainers I linked to previously and ordered have finally arrived. They fit perfectly, and are definitely the exact same as OEM.

Now I have 44 extra. :banana:

Reminds me of the valve stem seals for the GM 3800 series engines. There was a problem with them leaking and I seem to recall them being sold in sets of 7 or something really dumb being you needed 12 for an engine.
