Hey cool, nice to get some recognition! I know the Sonic has won Reliability awards in the past, the last one I can think of right now is the 2019 JD Power award in the Small Car category (which looked at 2016 cars for three years):

Just hoping you will still be able to buy one in 2021...with stick shift. Heck they could drop the sedan version and just offer the hatch with both automatic and stick. Wouldn't that simplify building and thus improve profitability? Reintroduce the Sonic in Canada? I actually prefer the sedan but if that's what it took I'd be OK with it. (Yes I know I'm just dreaming...)

They already dropped the manual trans in the US market, so I don't think you're in luck. Sonic only comes in 1.4T Auto now.

Yes 2019 was the last year with the manual tranny. .

I’m not sure what year they stopped selling in Canada, maybe 2019 too.
