I know theres not much info about details. Plenty of unanswered questions. This isnt my car nor do I know any more than whats there. Just something I stumbled upon.

Never know. Could be due to neglegence/lack of maintenance. I love my RS but would it have broke the bank at the factory to put in a temp gauge? May have avoided this flame up?

The missing temp guage is something lots of owners have complained about here.Should be a mandatory item in a car.Waiting for the check engine light to go on and its too late to do anything.Something is usually damaged by overheating at that point.

like it says under the pictures ... even onfire he did a better job parking then 90% of the people today
