the spark plug gap on 1.4L sonic is suppose to be 0.028 however I had read somewhere that on the 1.8L it should be 0.04 . Is this correct? as I have a 1.8 with 0.028 gap

this is confusing. the 1.8L is to have .028 spark gap while my vin (1.8L) says 0.043 ?

I called the dealer and was told 0.028 gap and they had asked me for vin?? I wonder if they just looked up the owner's manual but this spec has been updated since. Anyone have a service manual to confirm.
