Squeaks over speed bumps.

Hello,
My wife just told me that her 2013 Sonic sedan with 1000 miles has developed a squeak from the right front when going slow over speed bumps.
I havent looked at it yet and I dont want to bother with taking it to the dealer until I check it out.
I'll be doing an oil change this weekend, can anyone point me to some areas to check and hit with lube ?

I know on mine when I go over bumps I can hear the struts compressing but I would call that a squeak. It may be the end link starting to make noises

Mine does it too. Its the strut in my vehicle.

Well I'm glad for the confirmation of what I thought it was.

I wish it didn't make any noise though.

she says its a definite squeak like a bed spring. But it only does it going over speed bumps
and it wasnt doing it till this afternoon.
This morning it wasnt.
I cant bounce it enough to get much suspension travel but perhaps I can with a jack.

Yea mine only does it over bumps. I just put some oil on where the shock is and the squeak goes away.
