2012 1.4 ltz turbo

What's up y'all? I'm having a problem starting my car.

I turn the key and it clicks a bunch of times then starts, but the anti theft light is on. I shut it down take the key out and back in and it starts right away with no light.

Any ideas?

6 speed Manual, if that makes a difference.

Clicking sounds like starter solenoid. Check battery connections for acid and corrosion buildup. Make sure connections are tight on the battery posts. Age of your battery may be an issue. Alternator may have issues maintaining a sufficient charge.

Contacts are clean and tight. I just had the battery and starting system tested and they said it was fine.
