Sun roof quality

Eyeing another Sonic for the family...this one has a sunroof.

Anyone have a Sonic with a sunroof? Any issues like leaks?

I did a search, but no luck.

I have had no issues I don’t believe it’s something to worry about.

I have a 2012 and I have one single issue. In the summer when it’s hot out, it sometimes sticks, but will open after a second try. Perfectly reasonable, its hot, rubber expands. Nothing anyone can do about it.

This would be our second Sonic, the 2014 has been a good driver for my daughter...and my son likes it as well.

I have a 2012 and I have one single issue. In the summer when it’s hot out, it sometimes sticks, but will open after a second try. Perfectly reasonable, its hot, rubber expands. Nothing anyone can do about it.

Try smearing some Vaseline on the rubber and let it soak in. It will be absorbed by the rubber and swell back up a little bit. Gives a better seal and also keeps the rubber soft.
