Sway bar rubbing on counter weight

Hey so iv recently discovered a problem on my 17 sonic rs where (im not sure if its on bumps on sharp corners or what) the sway bar on the front passenger side rubs on the axel counter weight .-. Any ideas or tips for figuring out why this happens and possibly any fixes for this problem would be greatly appreciated thank you!

Pictures of this would help. .. not just a close up, but general wheel and then the counter weight position on the wheel.

My guess is you need internal flat wheel weights and someone replaced tires or wheels in the past .

So its not even part of the wheel its part of the axel rubbing on the swaybar you can see in this pic the sway bar looks shiny where its rubbing also on part of the axle theres actually a groove forming... it doesnt touch while at rest which leads me to believe its running mainly around hard left corners or when hitting a bump in the road...

Check for a broken or missing bushing in the sway bar mount.

I've only replaced sway bar bushings on one car, and they were a pain due to close tolerance between the mounting bolt and the unibody/firewall.

So yesterday i was workin on an oil change for it and while it was up in the air i checked the bushings bushings look pretty good no cracking and all there...

Was this car ever hit and "re-aligned?" I've had three Sonic, no issues like this, but your lower control arm may be bent or "pushed" back a bit.

If you are close to an independent muffler/suspension shop, they can look at it and see what is going on for not much cost.

Unfortunately im a auto technician so i looked at it and other than the fact it was rubbing it looked fine and when i bought it there were no accident reports... car was clean one owner before me nothin out of the ordinary [emoji2369][emoji2369][emoji2369] asked my coworkers about it too and they are stumped even guys that worked for a chevy dealership have no clue
