The Jennifer Project/Wishlist

So I finally have my 2012 Chevy Sonic 1.8 and rightly so, I will name her Jennifer, my BMW was Allison. The point of this project is design a sleeper car. Not only are they bland, but far worth seeing the faces of sad subcompact car owners when I smoke them. Anyway, here is a list of items I shall compile to get an idea of how much this project will cost. Below is a picture of Jennifer.

WISHLIST

1.EIBACH PRO KIT

• Lower center of gravity
• Reduce body roll
• Increased performance steering

2.Rear suspension brace by DDMWorks

• Further decreased body roll
• Further improved performance steering

3.K&N Typhoon short RAM air intake

• Increased MPG
• Slight increase in torque and horsepower
• Will help with tune

4. BNR 1.8L Stainless Steel 4-1 Header/Downpipe Combo

• 30+ HP gains 55+ Torque gains
• Need a way to quiet the sound

5. TRIFECTA Advantage Tune 1.8L

• Tune will make the most of headers and intake
• Increased MPG
• Better drive-ability
• 20+ Torque gains ? HP gains

Let me know what you think, and give suggestions to make more powerful and quiet. And how much am I looking at price wise install and all?

Header does not add that much torque at all.

With a full bolt on 1.8 your looking at 160-170 hp, 130-140lb tq at most.

It's a wast of money. Sorry if your gonna smoke someone. You need a MAJOR power adder for a 1.8 strictly for economy
BOOST or NITROUS. Your gonna have to put alot of money in to your car.

Weight reduction could help. I like the sleeper idea. But you need more power...or less weight. Im not sure where you got those header numbers but they are grossly inaccurate
