The MyLink monster

I am asking since I keep seeing this come up as an issue...

The MyLink thread has grown so large that trying to find information in it has become impractical. As such, people seem to avoid it.

(I know I wasted way over an hour skimming it trying to find information and fell asleep from the GPS App discussion, which had nothing to do with what I was interested in... I gave up)

Would it not perhaps be better served to have a subforum titled MyLink so that threads about different questions or issues could be browsed under it and the information remain more relevant to the specific subject?
And MORE importantly... findable? :banana:

Perhaps this would also cut down on the need for admins to remind people and close and move threads that go kicking and screaming into the dark abyss of the "Master MyLink Thread"

This is getting a bit silly. I think that MyLink should probably have its own sub forum. It is really hard to have a coherent discussion and weed through all of the information in there.

I agree and I have been following this thread since inception.

Trying to locate a specific post is beyond the capacity of my memory and the search box is no help.

I don't like any of the one thread on a subject matter. Should all be sub forums. I know they are trying to keep from multiple questions but at the same time. It's nuts when your looking for a specific post.

I tried every way I could think of to look to see if anyone had asked a similar questions...I am pretty sure someone has asked my questions in the string ....so I think subdividing would help

I'm looking into a sub forum for mylink again. I do not have the ability to add it so I am working with Sonic and Sonic-Mike on this.

Half the time it's easier to google it and most of the time this forum comes up first if I need something fast.

I would totally agree and would go one step further and include an Apple CarPlay subforum as well.

But I agree, I have specific questions regarding mylink radio, but sifting through that thread isn't going to happen for me.
