Hey everyone,

So I got my 2013 sonic a month ago and still get the questions from people when they see it "what kind of car is it?" haha I was kinda dropped into the lap of this sexy beast from a accident and after driving a few different models and few hours of test drives I found the 1.4t hatch to be my choice of poison.

Mods will come with time but not till after I get a project car finished first, 1 gen 4g63t eclipse. I joined the site hoping to find out more on mods and tricks but for now I am looking roof racks since they still seem to be the one thing hard to find. Does anyone know more on the gm removable one they now have? Is it bolt on removable? Or door clamp removable? Even the dealers here have no clue since they have not seen them in person. Only reason this is a big deal is they offered season ski passes with purchase going to be a great winter!

As far as mods, you should read the Trifecta Tune thread. You are just in time for the Black Friday sale. I plan on getting one since it adds +36WHP and +52WTQ. Lots of people have it already, normally I think it's $465 with the cable but I expect it to be $300 on Black Friday.

Welcome, as most Dsm guys we are worried about the go not the show. Lucky you have the turbo and I don't . But yes trifecta tune, intake, exhaust, lowering springs are all things you should look into.

Thanks everyone for the welcome, I put dome pics up in my garage when I joined but I will get some pics up later this week works got me to busy to get it washed.

SSpeckerwood I am from north ogden.

Maddog2020 I had read those if I do a permanent I am going with a whispbar it looks so sexy and is removable when you take everything off it only leaves a small bump that blends right in but for 610 dollars installed I want to look at some other options first.

Red Sonic LT I have been biting the bit so bad on mods its hard but I think if I wait it out while I am building the dsm, prices will drop and new mods are bound to show up as well.

Glad the forum is out here I remember the old days of getting tricks and secrets or anything new was done from word of mouth :blankface:
